Terms of Use

1. Scope and provider
These Terms of Use govern the contract between you and the provider of Waidmann App (see Imprint for the provider's identity) for use of the Waidmann App web and mobile application. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
2. Service description
Waidmann App offers a free plan (1 hunting ground, up to 3 weapons) and a paid Premium subscription (unlimited hunting grounds and weapons, premium weather provider, multi-device sync) as shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Prices shown at checkout are binding and, where required by law, stated inclusive of VAT.
3. Account and registration
You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian to register. You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity carried out under your account.
4. Contract formation and payment
A Premium subscription is concluded when you complete checkout through our payment provider (Stripe) and is billed in advance for the chosen interval (monthly or yearly), renewing automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime before the next renewal date via the Billing Portal in Account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days without giving reasons, by clear written notice to us (email is sufficient). The withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded. If you expressly request that we begin providing the Premium features before the withdrawal period ends, and confirm that you know you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, your right of withdrawal ends at that point; otherwise, if we have not yet fully performed, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the service already provided up to your notice of withdrawal.
6. User obligations
You agree to enter accurate records and not to misuse the service. Where Waidmann App is used to keep records that are also subject to statutory requirements (e.g. a Schießbuch/range log or weapons registry), the app is a convenience tool only — you remain personally responsible for meeting your statutory record-keeping obligations.
7. Data and availability
Handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, particularly on the free plan.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Account settings under "Danger zone"; this immediately and permanently anonymizes your personal data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these terms.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health. For slightly negligent breach of a material contractual obligation (cardinal obligation), liability is limited to the foreseeable, contract-typical damage. Liability is otherwise excluded to the extent permitted by law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or legal requirements. We will notify registered users of material changes in advance and give you the right to object; continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of protections granted by the mandatory law of your country of habitual residence.
